The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 require that the correctly selected wheel must be properly mounted by a person who has been trained for this purpose and is considered competent by the employer.

Course information

Who the course is aimed at

This course will be suitable for employees such as factory workers, construction workers, vehicle mechanics, panel beaters, mechanical and civil engineers and any person required to mount an abrasive wheel to a portable machine or to bench/pedestal grinders. There are no pre-requisites for delegates attending this course.

Qualification / Certificate received

Delegates will be assessed on their input during the practical exercise and their feedback. Course certification lasts three years.
